The rubber grommet can be placed on the end of the P3 Tool to assist when the object being pushed is plastic or the surface around the pin is flat. (i.e. P3 Tools with grommets have been used to assist those with disabilities unlatch seatbelts and it is also recommended for outdoor umbrellas, tents, etc) Easily removable and just push back on when needed.
